I spend most of my time looking at photos, thinking about photos, or taking photos. So this blog is about all of that. Here’s an example: shot on Ilford XP2 film and a Nikon FM2, back in the days before megapixels.
Just in case you’re wondering, this was taken at Middleton Top in Derbyshire – these are boilers for a steam engine, used to haul loads up the steep incline from Cromford to the relatively flat railway line which leads to Buxton (and now forms part of the High Peak Trail).
